Ryan Mallett died tragically on June 27, 2023. His death has been devastating to masses of people, including those of us here at College GameTime. Ryan joined our show a year ago (July 11, 2022) and was one of the most humble, down-to-earth people we’ve ever interacted with. He was so gracious to us and we had a great time together.
We’ve compiled some clips for this video being published posthumously of him discussing his relationship with former Arkansas Razorback football coach Bobby Petrino.
A relationship that would define an era of Razorback football.
As Ryan was laid to rest today, July 6th, 2023, we post this video as a tribute to one of the best Hogs to ever wear that uniform. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Mallett family as well as everyone else impacted by his untimely passing. We pray his legacy will continue to impact others and inspire the next generation for many years to come. Thank you for watching.
